Our VOICE has a long history of providing quality risk-reduction and prevention programs to many diverse groups throughout Buncombe County. Being faced with the devastating impact that sexual violence has on our community provides the motivation to address this problem. In speaking publicly about the issue we hope to raise awareness, reduce the amount of future violence, and help provide a better response to victims and survivors of this crime.
It is the goal at Our VOICE to never turn down an opportunity to provide a community education program. Programs we have provided range from "Funny Tummy Feelings" for children to self-protection for seniors. We also offer programs that are aimed at helping other service providers more effectively address sexual violence and recognize the impact it may have on the clients they serve. Any program that we offer can be modified to meet your particular needs.
