Our VOICE is able to provide crisis intervention services to survivors of sexual assault around the clock on our 24-hour crisis line and in the hospital thanks to our dedicated volunteers! We are pleased to announce that once a month we’ll be highlighting one of our wonderful volunteers here on our website!
Susan has been an Our VOICE Advocate since April 2016 – As a grounding rock of the Our VOICE Advocates, Susan stands out with exemplary empathy and unwavering dedication to supporting survivors. She is a model advocate to share the mission and philosophy of Our VOICE through survivor-centered crisis response.
Leah has been an Our VOICE Advocate since January 2016 – Going above and beyond the call of duty, Leah has offered her insight and energy to the volunteer program through answering hotline calls, offering hospital accompaniment, and so much more. She has dedicated time to bettering training material for advocates, being present at community fundraisers, and spreading the word about Our VOICE services. Most recently, Leah encouraged and supported two of her colleagues through the process of becoming Our VOICE Advocates!
