SUMMARY:Let's Talk About Consent! (Workshop for Adults)
DESCRIPTION:Teaching consent can be challenging and awkward. Talking about consent violations and how to avoid them can be stressful and triggering. We make it easier! – Creating a Culture of Consent\n\nJoin us at AmeriHealth Caritas Wellness & Opportunity Center as Our VOICE educators\, Becca (she/her) and Mercy (she/her)\, facilitate exercises on consent from Creating Consent Culture\, a book by Marcia Baczynski and Erica Scott. These activities will teach the basics of consent and provide practical tools to model consent in an age-appropriate way for the youth you live and work with!\n\nPlease note: this workshop is intended for folks 18+ years who work or live with youth.\n\nKids 7+ are welcome to join. Kids can play in our kids room equipped with toys\, a chalk wall\, coloring books\, books and Disney plus.\nAmeriHealth Caritas NC members can receive free transportation to and from any wellness center event by calling ModivCare for a reservation: 1-833-498-2262\n\nLet’s do better together!
