In this Video Blog created by LEAD , Our Voice’s young adult coalition , we explore how music and media shape our ideas about love, boundaries, and relationships. LEAD is made up of young adults working to prevent sexual violence through education, leadership, and community action.
This playlist project grew from a simple question: If music is everywhere… what messages are we absorbing and how it contributes to the root causes of sexual violence? LEAD wanted to challenge the harmful themes often normalized in songs and instead highlight music that models healthy communication, consent, respect, and emotional openness.
