Our VOICE is funded by the United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, state and federal grants, family and corporate foundations, individual contributions and special events. Your donation and volunteer efforts will allow Our VOICE to continue its mission of effecting positive change regarding sexual violence in our community.


How to Help

We have many different opportunities to volunteer, including being a Crisis Line Volunteer Advocate, Community Outreach Volunteer, Board of Director member, or collecting supplies for survivors. Our Volunteer Crisis Line Advocate program has been paused due to COVID. For more information, visit the Volunteer Program page. 

Please check the Volunteer Program page to review our current volunteer opportunities before applying. Each position will list requirements, expectations, time commitments, and upcoming training information.

(Volunteer Advocates must go through our 21-hour crisis response training. Outreach Volunteer require a 2 hour training session arranged according to availability.)
