At Our Voice, we provide free, confidential support to all people impacted by sexual violence in Buncombe County. Whether someone is in immediate crisis or seeking long-term healing, we are here to listen, to believe, and to stand beside them.

What We Do

Our Voice serves survivors of sexual assault, harassment, trafficking, and abuse through a wide range of trauma-informed services. Our goal is to meet people where they are—with care, compassion, and respect.

24/7 Crisis Support

If you or someone you know needs immediate help, call our 24/7 Crisis Line at (828) 255-7576. Trained advocates are always available to offer support, information, and connection to services—day or night.

Services for Survivors

  • 24/7 Hospital Accompaniment – If a survivor goes to the hospital for a forensic exam, one of our trained staff or volunteers can meet them there to provide in-person support throughout the process. You are not alone.

  • Individual Counseling – Our licensed therapists provide free, trauma-informed counseling to survivors ages 13 and up.

  • Case Management & Advocacy – We assist survivors in navigating complex systems, including legal processes, housing, employment, and more.

  • Support Groups – We offer group spaces for survivors to connect, share, and heal together in a supportive environment.

  • Multilingual Services – All services are available in English and Spanish, with interpretation available for other languages as needed.

Prevention & Education

Our Voice works to prevent sexual violence before it happens through community education and training. We offer interactive workshops for youth, adults, schools, businesses, and community groups on topics such as:

  • Healthy relationships and boundaries

  • Consent and communication

  • Bystander intervention

  • Supporting survivors

Our programs are tailored to each audience and focus on building safer, more respectful communities through open dialogue and skill-building.
